How to Delete Data
This page is for users of the FlashCam app for Android (Google Play)—an AI photo styling and editing application). Use it to learn how to delete your FlashCam account and the data associated with your use of the app, as required for our Google Play listing.
Accounts, Skip Login, and Google sign-in
FlashCam lets you tap Skip Login (or similar wording on the first screen) to open the app and use limited features without creating an account. To use core features—such as AI image generation and editing, purchasing Diamonds, saving results to your library, favorites, and account-linked history—you must sign in with your Google account.
The steps below apply when you have signed in with Google and want to delete your FlashCam account and the data we store for that account. If you only used Skip Login and never completed Google sign-in, you may not have a FlashCam account on our servers; uninstalling the app stops further use on your device.
How to request account and data deletion
You can delete your FlashCam account and related data inside the app. No email is required for the standard in-app flow. Deletion takes effect immediately after you confirm; we do not apply an additional retention period before removing your account data from our systems.
Steps in FlashCam
- Open the FlashCam app on your device.
- Go to the Person tab (your profile area).
- Tap the Settings button.
- Select Delete Account and follow the on-screen confirmation.
What we delete
When you complete Delete Account, we remove data tied to your FlashCam account without delay, including:
- Your account and sign-in association (your Google account linked to FlashCam)
- Authorization and session data used for the app
- Photos and images you uploaded for AI generation or editing
- AI-generated results, favorites, and library items stored for your account
- Generation history, job records, and related usage details shown in the app
- In-app purchase and virtual currency (Diamonds) records linked to your account
- Other personal information and app content we hold for your account on our servers
What we do not keep after deletion
For account deletion through Delete Account, FlashCam does not keep your account profile, uploads, or generated images on our servers for a later purge. Removal is performed as part of the deletion process itself—there is no extra waiting period beyond the time needed to complete the request on our systems (typically immediate).
Data on your device
Deleting your account removes the data we control on our servers for that Google-linked account. Content cached only on your device may remain until you clear app data or uninstall FlashCam. For more detail, see our Privacy Policy.
