Terms and Conditions
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By downloading, installing, or using the FlashCam mobile application for Android (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy (available in the App under Person → Settings). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
FlashCam is an AI-powered photo styling and editing application for Android (distributed on Google Play). The App focuses on generation tools—not social feeds, messaging, or personalized recommendation products.
Subject to then-current in-app rules and available network service, you may:
- Browse parts of the App without an account (for example limited Explore preview after Skip Login)
- Sign in with Google to use core features: generation, Diamonds, saved library (Mine), favorites, and Usage Details
- Use Generation Setup: upload a selfie (required), optional description, optional reference image, and options such as number of images, aspect ratio, and style; confirm to start jobs (Image Gen or Style Transfer flows)
- Browse Explore categories (e.g., Trending, Gen, Fun Effects, Female, Male), open template details, and remix into Generation Setup
- Use Home tools (Enhance, Coloring, Light Up, AI Expansion, Watermark Removal) by uploading one photo and starting a job; some tools may not be available in every release
- Track jobs in Recent Edits (processing, success, or failed with a reason)
- Spend Diamonds per generation (pricing shown in the App; Enhance and other tools may have different costs)
- Buy Diamond packages through Google Play in-app purchases
- Keep generation history, favorites, and related data on your device only (local database, including Room on Android); the App does not sync your library across devices or through a Service Provider–operated consumer cloud drive
Generation requires an active internet connection and a valid signed-in session with our servers. Disclaimers about AI output are in Section 7.
3. USER ACCOUNTS
3.1 Account Creation and Eligibility
- Accounts for core features are created through Google sign-in only
- The App is not directed to children under 13, and you must not use the App if you are under 13
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the App, or older if a higher minimum age applies where you live
- If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or if local law requires parental consent for online services (for example, under 16 in some regions), you may use the App only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf
- You are responsible for activity under your Google account used with the App
3.2 Account Responsibilities
- Keep your device and Google account secure
- Notify us if you suspect unauthorized use of your account
- We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms
4. IN-APP PURCHASES
4.1 Diamonds (Virtual Currency)
- Diamonds are virtual currency used only inside FlashCam to pay for generation features
- Diamonds have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are tied to your account
- The App may charge Diamonds when you confirm a generation or start a Home tool job, before the server accepts the job; if a job fails under App rules, Diamonds may be credited back to your balance
- Purchases of Diamond packages are processed by Google; refunds follow Google Play policies and applicable law
- FlashCam for Android does not include a one-time welcome Diamond gift for new registrations
4.2 Payment
- All payments go through Google Play
- Prices are shown in your local currency
- In addition to these Terms, Google Play downloads and in-app purchases are subject to Google Play's terms
5. USER CONTENT
5.1 Your Content
- You retain ownership of photos you upload
- You grant us a limited license to host, transmit, and process your content solely to provide the services you request (including AI generation on our servers), as further described in the Privacy Policy
- You must have the right to use any image you upload (including likeness and copyright)
5.2 Prohibited Content
You agree not to upload content that is illegal, infringing, harmful, abusive, or violates others' privacy or rights.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
6.1 Our Rights
- The App, its design, and underlying technology are owned by us or our licensors
- You may not copy, reverse engineer, or redistribute the App except as allowed by law
6.2 Generated Output
- Subject to these Terms and applicable law, AI-generated output is licensed to you for personal use
7. DISCLAIMERS
7.1 Service Availability
- Service may be interrupted for maintenance, network issues, or other operational reasons
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted access
7.2 AI Output
- Output is for personal creative and entertainment purposes
- Results may be imperfect or unsuitable for professional, medical, or legal reliance
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to amounts you paid for the App or in-app purchases in the period required by law. We are not responsible for loss of data beyond what is stored on your device and what our generation servers process to fulfill your requests.
9. TERMINATION
You may delete your account in the App under Person → Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate access for violations or operational reasons. Provisions that should survive will survive termination.
10. CHANGES TO TERMS
We may update these Terms; continued use after the updated date constitutes acceptance. Material changes may be reflected by updating the in-app legal text.
11. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, the European Union, and applicable laws in Asian jurisdictions where disputes arise, and disputes may be brought in courts with appropriate jurisdiction in those regions, to the extent permitted by law.
