Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the FlashCam app for Android (Google Play), developed by the Service Provider as a commercial service. This service is provided "AS IS".
1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to FlashCam ("we," "our," or "us"). This Policy describes the Android version of our App. Your saved library stays on your device; we do not offer cross-device cloud sync or tie storage to another mobile platform's ecosystem services.
FlashCam is not a social network. Your uploads and AI-generated results are not published to, or shared with, other users of the App.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
2.1 Information You Provide
- Account: You may choose Skip Login on the first screen to use limited features without an account. Core features—including AI generation and editing, purchasing Diamonds, saving results to your library, favorites, and account-linked history—require signing in with your Google account. Google may share your name and email address with us according to your choices during sign-in. Only Google sign-in is supported for accounts on this App.
- User Content: Photos and images you choose to upload for AI generation (see Sections 3 and 5), including Generation Setup (Image Gen, Style Transfer, optional text notes and reference images), Explore template remixes, and Home editing tools (Enhance, Coloring, Light Up, AI Expansion, Watermark Removal, and similar tools).
- Purchase and usage data: Records of in-app purchases (Diamonds) through Google Play, virtual currency balance and consumption (including generation charges and refunds when a job fails under App rules), and related usage history shown in Usage Details. FlashCam for Android does not grant a one-time welcome Diamond gift for new registrations.
The Service Provider may use contact information you provided to send important service-related notices about the Application.
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
The App does not collect or store your IP address on your device.
When you use Google sign-in or AI generation features, information is sent to our servers over encrypted connections (HTTPS). This includes: (a) authentication data from Google sign-in; (b) photos, prompts, and settings you choose to submit for generation; and (c) basic technical information needed to operate and secure the service (such as app version and Android platform). We do not use advertising identifiers for tracking.
Google Play may provide aggregated crash or diagnostics data according to Google Play policies and your device settings.
We do not collect precise location from your device for this App. We do not sync your App library across devices or through a Service Provider–operated consumer cloud drive; see Section 7.
3. FACE DATA — COLLECTION, USE, DISCLOSURE, SHARING, AND RETENTION
This section applies when you upload photos that contain facial information. Other uploads are handled under Section 5 using the same generation principles (process only to deliver the result you request; no recommendation or advertising use).
- Collection: The Application collects images you choose to upload within the App, including images that contain your face. This data is used together with text, style options, or tool settings you provide to request AI-generated modified images (e.g., hairstyles, style transfer, or photo edits).
- Use: Face data is used only to provide the Application's core functionality: transmitting the image and your instructions through the Service Provider's systems (including secure servers and AI processing) to obtain a modified image. It is not used for identification, tracking, recommendations, or any purpose other than generating your requested results within the App.
- Disclosure & Sharing: Face data is not sold, rented, or shared for advertising, marketing, profiling, or recommendations. To fulfill a generation you request, your image and instructions are processed through the Service Provider's infrastructure and may be handled by technology providers engaged solely to operate that generation; those parties are not permitted to use your content for their own marketing or unrelated purposes. The Service Provider does not use face data to build marketing audiences.
- Retention:
- The Service Provider does not maintain your uploads as a permanent hosted photo library for browsing by others. Our servers may record information related to your generation requests (such as status, timestamps, and technical identifiers) to operate and secure the service. We do not sell or share your photos or personal content for advertising or recommendations; the Service Provider and entrusted parties process data only to complete the generation you request.
- Result images you keep are stored locally on your Android device using a local database (Room). They are not synced to other devices or cloud drives.
- Stored data on your device does not automatically expire by age; you may delete individual items or use Person → Settings → Delete Account.
- Each signed-in account can access only its own saved content.
- The App supports viewing results, saving images to your device photo library where you choose, and deleting account data through Person → Settings → Delete Account.
4. LOCATION INFORMATION
This Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device. The Application does not use your device's location for geolocation services or location-based advertising.
5. USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI)
FlashCam provides AI image generation and editing only. It does not provide social networking, personalized feeds, or automated recommendation services. Other users cannot see your uploads or your generated images through the App.
- Image Generation and Editing: When you start a generation, your submission is processed with AI on the Service Provider's systems (see Section 2.2) and results are returned to the App. You may receive one or more result images depending on the feature (for example batch count in Generation Setup). Failed jobs may show an error in Recent Edits; Diamond charges and refunds follow in-app rules.
- Explore: Catalog templates are provided for browsing and optional remix into Generation Setup; we do not use your uploads to power a separate recommendation product.
- Personalized Content: This Application does not provide personalized content feeds.
- Recommendations: This Application does not provide a recommendations service.
- Data Protection: AI processing is performed in accordance with this Policy. User content is not sold or used for advertising or recommendations, as stated in Sections 3 and 8.
6. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide generation features you request and display order status (e.g., Recent Edits)
- Authenticate you with Google sign-in and maintain your session for server-backed generation
- Process Diamond purchases through Google Play and record consumption and refunds
- Store your generation history, favorites, and related data on your device only (no cross-device cloud sync)
- Operate, secure, and improve the Application in accordance with this Policy
7. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
7.1 Local storage (Android)
On your device, the App stores data such as your user profile, generation records and images, favorites, purchase history, Diamond consumption ledger, and login session information using a local database (Room) and secure local preferences. Your long-term library stays on the device unless you delete it or delete your account.
7.2 No cross-device sync
FlashCam for Android does not sync your photo library across devices or through any Service Provider–operated consumer cloud drive. Account and library data on this App are not merged with accounts on other distribution channels. Generation requests are processed on our servers only to deliver results you request; see Sections 3 and 8.
7.3 Security measures
- Google sign-in and Google Play purchases use Google's services; session tokens for generation may be stored in encrypted local storage on your device
- Access to operational systems is limited to personnel who need it to operate and improve the service
- No security method is perfect; we cannot guarantee absolute security
8. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information, photos, or generated images for advertising, marketing, or recommendations.
We may disclose information only:
- To Google: Google sign-in and Google Play billing under Google's policies
- To operate a generation you request: the Service Provider's servers and entrusted technology providers (for example hosting or AI processing) may handle your content solely to complete that generation; they are not allowed to sell or use your content for their own advertising
- As required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security
- In connection with a merger or acquisition, subject to protections consistent with this Policy
9. YOUR RIGHTS AND OPT-OUT
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port personal data. You can delete your account and associated App data in the App under Person → Settings → Delete Account, or contact us at luxdg888@163.com. Uninstalling the App stops further collection through the App; data already on your device may remain until you clear app storage or delete your account.
10. DATA RETENTION AND MANAGING YOUR INFORMATION
- Saved App content on your device remains until you delete it or delete your account.
- Server-side handling of generation requests is described in Sections 3 and 8.
Contact luxdg888@163.com for deletion requests. Some data is required while you actively use features (for example an upload to perform a generation).
11. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Our App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Do not use the App or provide personal information if you do not meet the age and parental-consent requirements in our Terms and Conditions. If you believe a child has provided information, contact luxdg888@163.com. In some regions (for example the EEA), you must be at least 16 years old—or have verifiable parental consent where permitted by law—to consent to processing of personal data for this App.
12. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a new version in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
